In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and weather resistance of roofing structures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to high-quality roofing projects. Responsibilities Install various roofing materials including shingles, metal panels, membranes, and flat roof systems with precision and efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and caulking guns to assemble roofing components Operate power tools including drills, nail guns, saws, and grinders safely and effectively on construction sites Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety protocols Assist with related tasks such as flashing installation, sealing joints with caulking, framing repairs, or minor carpentry work as needed Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation or repair on construction sites; familiarity with commercial and residential projects preferred Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing and general construction Experience with construction site safety practices and protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks Basic understanding of schematics, metal stud framing, masonry work, plumbing connections, or welding is a plus Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects highly desirable Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Join us to build durable roofs that stand the test of time!
