Metal Roof Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Roof Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable, high-quality metal roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that roofs are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Duties Measure and prepare roofing surfaces using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to follow project specifications accurately. Install metal roofing panels, trims, flashing, and caulking materials with attention to detail for weatherproofing and aesthetic appeal. Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle large metal sheets safely and efficiently. Perform surface preparation tasks such as framing, metal stud framing, or concrete forming as needed for proper roof support. Conduct quality inspections during installation to verify alignment, fastening, and sealing standards are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation, construction estimating, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used in roofing projects. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to roofing systems. Familiarity with construction site procedures including heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and site safety practices. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights. Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as plumbing, welding, tile laying, stucco application, or restoration is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to follow instructions precisely.
