Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and care Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects Utilize knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes for various projects Perform plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work as needed to ensure seamless results Operate airless paint sprayers and other industrial painting equipment efficiently for large-scale projects Assist with construction estimating, renovation tasks, fixture installation, restoration work, and general maintenance on-site Follow safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of scaffolding, ladders, and personal protective equipment Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with knowledge of construction site procedures Familiarity with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns; experience with power tools is a plus Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations required Knowledge of construction estimating processes and schematics interpretation preferred Hands-on experience with plastering, drywall finishing, framing carpentry, renovation work, and industrial painting techniques Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects Prior experience in construction estimating or handyman work is advantageous Ability to work efficiently on scaffolding or ladders while maintaining safety standards if you're interested contact Mr. Willie Buckner
