Skilled Laborer- roofing/siding

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and siding systems with precision and efficiency. Duties Install, repair, and replace roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to ensure secure and weather-tight coverings. Measure and cut siding materials accurately based on blueprints, schematics, or project specifications. Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise installations. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, stucco components, or masonry units to facilitate efficient workflow. Use caulking, trim carpentry, welding, tile laying, and masonry techniques to complete detailed finishing work. Conduct site inspections to verify quality control standards are met during installation or restoration projects. Collaborate with team members on framing, metal stud framing, plumbing rough-ins, or concrete forming tasks as needed to support comprehensive project completion. Skills Extensive experience with roofing installation and repair techniques using various materials. Experience with siding with various materials. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety equipment. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required on construction sites.
