Veritas Foundations is a new subsidiary of Veritas Custom Homes focused on block and ICF foundations. Veritasis a custom home builder and remodeler dedicated to Quality, Relationships, Hard Work, and Humility. We take pride in creating a positive work culture with opportunities for advancement. As we grow, we're looking for a skilled or trainable Foundations Crew Member or Lead to join our team. Existing carpentry experience is helpful to diversify the jobs you can work on.

Position Details:

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30

PM Pay Rate:

$20-35/hr depending on experience. Job Responsibilities -

Foundations Crew:

Perform layout, excavation, and footing installation for custom residential projects Assist with forming, pouring, and backfilling foundation systems Build and install CMU block and ICF wall systems Read and interpret site plans and foundation prints Collaborate with project managers and field teams

Optional:

Assist with flatwork preparation and pours Experience in rough or finish carpentry is a benefit as it expands the jobs you can work.

Required Experience:

✅ Footings & Layout ✅ Excavation & Backfill ✅ CMU Block ✅ ICF Installation ✅ Site Setup ✅ Working from Prints ✅ Concrete Experience (5 years+)

Qualifications:

✔ Field experience in foundation systems (or construction aptitude and willingness to train) ✔ Ability to read and work from construction drawings ✔ Knowledge of site safety and proper tool use ✔ Strong work ethic and ability to take direction ✔ Team-first attitude with a desire to grow in the trades ✔ Reliable transportation to job sites in Southeast Michigan Join our team and lay the groundwork for something great!
