Home Remodeling Specialist /

Independent Contractor Location:

Genesee County, Michigan Ikon Property Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Home Remodeling Specialist / Contractor to join our team as an independent contractor . This role involves full-scope residential rehabs—taking single-family homes from start to finish under the direction of one of our on-site Property Managers.

Duties Include:

Bringing properties up to Michigan Building Code for Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing (in coordination with licensed trades if necessary) Drywall installation and finishing Structural framing Interior and exterior painting Flooring installation (vinyl, tile, etc.) Roofing repairs and replacement

Compensation:

This is a per-project role, not hourly . Labor pay generally ranges from $2,500 to $3,000 per home , depending on the scope of work. Final payment is made after the job is completed, inspected, and approved by our project management team. Smaller day jobs may be paid same-day, based on a quoted rate.

Note:

Candidates must have knowledge of Michigan building codes and be comfortable working in Genesee County. Reliable transportation and tools are required.
