Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! This role is perfect for individuals with at least one year of hands-on roofing experience who are eager to contribute their skills to high-quality projects. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems while ensuring safety and precision on every job site. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to ensure secure and weatherproof roofs. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects according to specifications. Prepare roofs by framing, metal stud framing, or applying insulation as needed before roofing installation begins. Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and time requirements for each job. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or tiles safely and efficiently on-site. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate project tasks seamlessly. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco finishing, or masonry techniques as required for specific roofing projects. Assist in restoration or remodeling projects involving roofing components or related structures when necessary. Experience Minimum of one year of professional roofing experience in construction or related fields. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; and fabrication equipment. Solid understanding of construction site safety practices and ability to work at heights confidently. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with various roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membrane systems. Experience with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying or stucco application is a plus. Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material procurement and project planning. Hands-on experience with restoration projects involving roofing or exterior building components is advantageous.
