Lead Home Improvement Technician

Overview Odd Jobs, LLC provides home improvement and small project remodeling assistance to our wonderful customers in the Greater Lansing area. We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to help us as we continue to grow. Our lead technicians perform a wide variety of skilled home improvement related tasks with high quality and with a great attitude as they perform the work in our customer's homes. The lead carpenter will occasionally work with the assistance of our technicians when multiple team members are required. Responsibilities Travel to jobsite in Odd Jobs provided fully outfitted vehicle. Odd Jobs will provide all major tools necessary for the work to be completed (hand tools to be provided by employees). Professionally represent the Odd Jobs brand through great customer service and high quality of completed work. Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Perform designated home improvement tasks efficiently and independently in a highly skilled workmanlike manner or with occasional assistance of additional Odd Jobs technicians. Track hours of tasks and material purchases. Using Odd Jobs provided tablet and software, create invoices and collect payment. Report to Odd Jobs office on completed work status. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns promptly. Experience Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools essential for diverse home-improvement tasks. A successful candidate will have a good overall knowledge and experience in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting, Tile 10+ Years of experience in home improvement/handyman work Requirements Valid Drivers License Able to pass a complete background and driving record check Able to lift 50 pounds independently Able to get to and from main office (located in Williamston, MI) Work Schedule All work will be completed during standard business hours of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
