Commercial Roofer Job Description Join our team to assist in the installation of various commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. You will load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites, remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations, operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow safety procedures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Support the roofing crew with tasks as directed by the foreman or superintendent and perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials. Additionally, help with waterproofing, flashing, and sealing roof penetrations. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of various commercial roofing systems. Experience with construction and general labor. Proficiency in operating hand and power tools. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in roofing or construction preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Reliable transportation to job sites. OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
