- Schelp Construction is an innovative custom framing contractor specializing in constructing energy efficient new residential homes using alternative building methods, designs and materials.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with others as a team
- Following directions and requirements of the job
- Being adaptive to conditions and change orders
- Being on time and able to work an 8 hour day and 40 hour week
- A professional physical appearance and attitude
- Able to work in all weather conditions Skills required:
- 3 years minimum experience as a framing carpenter
- Skilled use of power tools (i.e. circular saw, sawzall, nail gun, drill and many other rough in tools
- Ability to safely work on ladders, scaffolding, and other methods that may involve working with heights
- Ability to take on tasks and projects without direct supervision
- Ability to work a physical job
- Ability to lift heavy materials and objects
- Having reliable transportation and drivers liscense
- The ability to learn new skills in an ever changing industry
