This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in construction and construction layout with a passion for delivering accurate, efficient fieldwork on a variety of civil and site development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform construction layout for commercial, industrial, public and private infrastructure projects. Set control, establish grades, and stake for a wide range of construction features including utilities, pavement, and structures. Maintain accurate field records and documentation. Collaborate closely with project managers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure layout is performed to plan specifications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in construction layout. Familiarity with proper total station, digital level, and GPS use. Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and specifications. Willingness and ability to learn or use CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) for site calculations and data preparation. Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Valid driver's license and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. (Company truck will be provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience performing calculations and preparing data files for construction layout. Familiarity with Trimble layout equipment (Total Station, GPS, Trimble Access).
