Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on roofing experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough roof inspections to identify damage, leaks, wear-and-tear, and system deficiencies. Diagnose the root causes of roof leaks and structural roofing issues. Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on commercial roofing systems, including but not limited to: TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), and Metal Roofing Systems. Complete preventative maintenance services, including debris removal, drain clearing, sealant application, and roof coatings. Document findings through photographs, inspection reports, and repair recommendations. Prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate findings clearly to customers and management. Travel to commercial job sites as needed to perform service work and inspections. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a professional manner. Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Provide exceptional customer service and always represent the company professionally.

Qualifications:

1-3+ years of commercial roofing experience in service, repair, or maintenance. Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and manufacturer-recommended repair methods. Ability to identify and troubleshoot roof leaks and roofing system failures. Experience using roofing hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders and working at heights. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience with roof inspections, moisture investigations, and preventative maintenance programs. Ability to read blueprints, roof plans, and specifications. Experience using mobile apps or software for inspections, reporting, and work orders.
