Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roof Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing roofing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in roofing and construction while contributing to the protection and enhancement of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Inspect roofs to identify damage or potential issues with a visual assessment set up and retrieve ladders outside residential homes Perform repairs including shingle repair, patching, sealing, caulking, and replacing damaged materials using hand tools and power tools Maintain a clean job site after repairs or crew work Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners Assist with roof installation projects (e.g. verify materials, confirm scope of work, meet crew, take photos throughout the process) Tech savvy - email, texting, video calls, can use smartphone to take photos, can upload notes and documents to company software via phone or computer. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and utilizing proper safety gear during all tasks Assist with other issues per our Repair Department Qualifications Proven experience in roofing with knowledge of roofing systems and materials Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, ladder safety techniques, and other construction equipment Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (60 lbs, a typical bundle of shingles) and work at heights safely Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Strong customer service and communication skills Professional appearance Handyman experience or background in restoration projects is advantageous Strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Must pass a background check and complete additional training, as needed Must be fluent in English Join us if you're eager to build a rewarding career in roofing with a team that values growth, integrity, five-star customer service, and craftsmanship.
