Overview Join our team as a Roofer and bring your expertise in construction and roofing to life! In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on commercial, and industrial buildings. Your skills will help ensure our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish. Install various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, or flat roof membranes, following blueprints and schematics. Prepare roofs by removing old materials, repairing damaged structures, and applying necessary underlayment or insulation layers. Use scaffolding, heavy lifting techniques, and safety equipment to work efficiently at heights while maintaining safety standards. Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, material requirements, and installation procedures. Perform maintenance and repair work on existing roofs, including caulking, flashing replacement, and restoration projects. Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, masonry work, or metal stud framing as needed for complex projects. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation and repair with construction site experience preferred. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills and saws. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading is highly desirable. Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, or tile laying enhances versatility. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights with proper safety protocols in place. Strong understanding of schematics, framing carpentry, stucco application, caulking techniques, and restoration methods.
