Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gutter Install Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutter systems on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive durable, high-quality gutter solutions that protect their buildings from water damage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of construction materials and tools, contributing to projects that enhance property longevity and curb appeal. Responsibilities Measure and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately install gutter systems according to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation and repair processes. Install various types of gutters, including seamless, sectional, and specialty systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on existing gutter systems to optimize performance and prevent water intrusion issues. Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure adherence to safety protocols on construction sites. Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify compliance with building codes, schematics, and client expectations. Maintain detailed records of measurements, materials used, and work completed for each project. Requirements Proven experience in gutter installation or related construction fields such as roofing, masonry, or carpentry. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; experience with Bluebeam software is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including ladder use and heavy equipment operation. Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other relevant equipment confidently. Experience with building material installation such as trim carpentry, caulking, fixture installation, or stucco is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Physical stamina for climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights in various weather conditions. Additional skills in plumbing, electrical work, tile masonry, or restoration projects are beneficial but not required.
