Journeyman Commercial Roofer

Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for roofing installation, including setup and material handling. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using proper personal protective equipment at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyman Roofer or in a similar construction trade role with a focus on commercial roofing projects. Extensive knowledge of roofing materials such as membrane roofs (TPO,EPDM,PVC, and Hypalon), built-up roofs (BUR), and other commercial systems. Understand manufacturer requirements for screw patterns, membrane welding and flashing. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, heavy lifting techniques, and safety procedures on construction sites. Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
