Siding Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining exterior siding on residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities Measure and cut siding materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish. Install various types of siding including vinyl, wood, stucco, metal, and fiber cement with precision and attention to detail. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project specifications effectively. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, framing, or applying weatherproofing materials before siding installation. Use caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry techniques to ensure seamless finishes and weather-tight joints. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to handle large siding panels or materials on-site. Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as framing, roofing, plumbing, or restoration projects as needed. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning. Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (nail guns, saws) efficiently. Experience with roofing, stucco application, masonry work, welding, tile laying, and metal stud framing is a plus. Strong knowledge of schematics, construction site safety protocols, and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry and frame carpentry. Ability to interpret technical drawings related to restoration or remodeling projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with handyman experience preferred for versatile task handling.
