In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related fixtures across a variety of construction and remodeling projects. Duties Read blueprints and schematics to determine the correct materials and installation procedures for each project Use hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, pliers, and caulking guns, along with power tools including drills and saws to complete installations efficiently Perform heavy lifting of glass sheets and framing materials safely while adhering to proper handling procedures Seal joints with caulking or sealants to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency Able to be insured to drive company vehicles Able to take direction and follow through with what you have been told Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces Handyman experience or general remodeling skills are highly valued
