Job Description

The Construction Paint Touch-Up Specialist is responsible for repairing and touching up painted surfaces in newly constructed homes. This role ensures walls, trim, doors, and other painted areas meet final quality standards before project completion. The specialist works to correct imperfections and deliver a clean, finished appearance. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed paint touch-ups on walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces in residential construction projects. Repair minor surface imperfections such as scuffs, nail holes, scratches, dents, and paint inconsistencies. Match existing paint colors and finishes to ensure seamless repairs. Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, patching, or priming before applying paint. Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites. Conduct final walkthroughs to identify areas requiring correction before project handover. Communicate with supervisors and other trades to resolve finishing issues. Safely handle and store paint, tools, and materials. Follow company safety procedures and construction site regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation. Ability to match paint colors and finishes accurately. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift materials. Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in painting, drywall finishing, or construction touch-up work. Familiarity with residential construction environments. Experience using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sanders, and patching tools. Work Environment Work is performed on active construction sites. Exposure to paint fumes, dust, and varying weather conditions. May require use of ladders or light scaffolding. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods. Good hand-eye coordination and steady hand for detailed work.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
