ROJECT OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced roofing installer for a targeted asphalt shingle repair on the front section of a single-family home located in Rolla, ND . The scope is focused on the area near the front door/kitchen, where an active roof leak has been identified. All materials will be supplied by Century Homes.

JOB DETAILS

Leak area: Front door/kitchen zone (right of center when facing the home from the road) Estimated work area: Approximately 200 sq ft (front portion of roof) Shingle type: Architectural asphalt shingles, tan color (matching existing) OSB replacement: Required in the immediate leak zone only All materials provided: Shingles, underlayment, OSB, nails, drip edge, and flashing

SCOPE OF WORK

Inspect existing roof deck in the leak zone for soft spots, rot, or structural issues Tear off existing shingles and underlayment in the affected front section — slightly wider than the visible leak to ensure a full fix Replace damaged OSB sheathing in the leak area only (7/16", 4x8 sheets) Install new 15 lb felt underlayment over repaired section Install tan architectural asphalt shingles using proper layout and nailing pattern Install drip edge along eaves and rakes as applicable Apply flashing and caulk around the leak zone, penetrations, and transitions Install ridge cap where applicable Ensure clean lines, proper fastening, and a watertight finish Full cleanup and haul-off of all old materials and debris

REQUIREMENTS

Proven residential roofing experience — asphalt shingle tear-off and installation Own tools and reliable transportation Ability to diagnose the source of the leak and apply a proper, lasting fix Attention to color matching — existing tan shingles must blend seamlessly Ability to complete job efficiently — target timeline: 7-10 days from booking Clean, professional workmanship — this is a front-of-house, customer-facing repair
