In 2021, Streamline Construction created a Home Management branch of the business, acting as a single point of contact for busy households and families. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and home management team. In this role, you will bring spaces to life through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform environments, enhance aesthetics, and protect surfaces with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your craftsmanship. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment like airless paint sprayers. Perform specialized painting tasks including plastering, stucco application, caulking, and restoration work to improve surface durability and appearance. Execute painting tasks across various environments—residential homes and commercial buildings—adhering to safety standards. Install fixtures and trim carpentry components such as moldings and baseboards as part of finishing touches. Utilize power tools and hand tools efficiently for surface preparation, repairs, and detailed finishing work. Read schematics and blueprints accurately to ensure precise application of paint schemes and surface treatments. Maintain a clean workspace by properly disposing of waste materials and organizing tools for efficient workflow. Skills Experience with construction estimating for painting projects to accurately assess scope and materials needed. Strong knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues that complement design goals. Proven expertise in residential painting as well as commercial painting environments. Proficiency with hand tools including brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and other manual equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise project execution. Skilled in plastering, stucco application, restoration work, and fixture installation for comprehensive surface finishing. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols along with experience working on active construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements, area calculations, mixing paints or compounds accurately. Knowledge of carpentry including trim carpentry and frame carpentry for detailed finishing work. Experience with power tools such as drills, saws, sanders along with airless paint spraying systems for efficient coverage. Capable of performing maintenance tasks related to painting equipment or site cleanup. Required Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; ability to work on multiple sites across different locations Must have a professional demeanor and strong client facing skills
Pay:
$15.00 - $30.43 per hour
