Qualifications Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Summary:
The Journeyman Roofer I is a skilled tradesperson who installs commercial roofing systems with minimal supervision. This role requires technical proficiency, adherence to specifications, and the ability to support crew productivity and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Install commercial roofing systems (single-ply, metal, insulated systems as applicable) Perform flashing, detailing, and terminations Identify and correct basic installation deficiencies Mentor and guide assistant roofers Maintain productivity and quality standards Proactively identify safety hazards and jobsite risks Exercise stop-work authority to prevent serious safety violations and protect employees, property, and the worksite Handle equipment, tools, and materials responsibly, following proper care and safety procedures Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and jobsite housekeeping practices • Education and/or
Experience:
2 - 4 years of commercial roofing experience. OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred.
