As a Roofing Laborer, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various roofing and construction tasks that ensure safety, efficiency, and excellence on every project site. No prior experience is necessary—just a motivated attitude and a willingness to learn! Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install roofing components. Set up ladders securely and use construction safety harnesses to work at heights while adhering to all construction workplace safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to support accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding, and masonry components in accordance with safety protocols. Support the installation of siding, stucco, tile laying, caulking, and masonry work as needed for restoration or remodeling projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures related to construction site experience. Skills Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to construction safety regulations ensures safe operations at all times. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings or construction plans. Experience in roofing repair, metal roofing installation, siding installation, or single-ply membrane roofing is highly desirable. Background in masonry, concrete forming, remodeling, handyman tasks or tile laying enhances versatility on diverse projects. Ability to follow detailed safety protocols diligently while working on complex restoration or renovation projects.
