Roofer

Overview We are looking for a reliable Roofer to join our chimney repair and installation team. In this role, you'll be our "go-to" for any work involving roof access. While your roofing skills are essential for shingles and minor repairs, you will also be trained to assist with full chimney cleanings, liner installations, and masonry repairs.

Key Responsibilities Roof Access & Safety:

Lead the setup of ladders, roof jacks, and fall protection for the crew.

Roofing Repairs:

Perform shingle replacements, minor leak repairs, and plywood/decking fixes around the chimney area.

Chimney Sweeping:

Assist with or lead the cleaning of chimney flues, smoke chambers, and fireboxes using professional brushes and vacuums.

Installation Support:

Assist in the installation of stainless steel chimney liners, rain caps, and high-capacity wood inserts.

Debris Management:

Ensure the roof and gutters are cleared of any masonry or soot debris after a job is completed.

Tool Handling:

Efficiently manage and pass tools and materials between the ground, the scaffolding, and the roof.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

2+ years of roofing experience (shingles, metal, or flat roofs). Comfort at

Heights:

Must be 100% comfortable walking roofs and working on high-reach ladders and scaffolding.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Ability to use power tools (drills, grinders, etc.) and a willingness to learn the mechanics of chimney systems.

Physical Strength:

Able to lift and carry heavy ladders and masonry materials (up to 80 lbs).

Reliability:
