About the role: We are seeking a full time roofer that has residential roofing experience . This roll has the opportunity to work both in a team setting on Residential Solar Installs, and work solo or with a helper to diagnose and repair roof leaks.

Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of a foreman installing roof mounted solar photovoltaic systems or the direction of the Service manager for roofing related issues. Preform shingle repairs Diagnose and mitigate leaks On new installs the job consists of: 1) Following building plans to map out array 2) Finding rafters to build racking system 3) Basic electric wiring of PV arrays

Qualifications and Skills:

MUST have experience in roofing, carpentry, exterior home improvements, or general construction MUST be comfortable working on pitched roofs Must be able to work on feet all day and lift min 50 lbs Strong communication skills Ability to document and report findings Knows proper usage of harnesses and other safety gear Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and rooftop Driver License and reliable transportation is required Pay based on skill
