Roofing Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance. This role requires physical stamina and proficiency with various tools and materials. The Laborer will support projects by fabricating, assembling, and maintaining structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties Perform heavy lifting and transport materials as needed for various projects. Utilize hand tools effectively for tasks such as framing, masonry, tile laying, and stucco application. Assist in the fabrication of components for construction projects, ensuring accurate measurements and cuts. Execute caulking tasks to seal joints and openings in structures. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Support skilled tradespeople in specialized tasks such as welding and frame carpentry when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in general labor or construction-related roles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction settings. Basic knowledge of masonry, tile laying, stucco application, caulking, welding, and frame carpentry is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the field is essential.
