Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Roofing Laborer and be a vital part of creating durable, high-quality roofing solutions. In this energetic role, you will assist skilled roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Your enthusiasm and work ethic will contribute to delivering top-notch results that stand the test of time. Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and organizing materials Carry and lift roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation safely and efficiently Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate roofing layouts Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and equipment around the site Support the installation of related systems like flashing, caulking, and trim carpentry to ensure a weather-tight roof Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in roofing projects Basic understanding of construction estimating principles for material needs and project timelines Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing or general construction Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or metal stud framing is a plus Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques like fabrication or tile laying Join us to build a rewarding career where your effort directly contributes to creating resilient roofs that protect homes and businesses.
