Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities Install a variety of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile roofing with precision and care. Conduct roof repairs and replacements efficiently, ensuring long-lasting results that meet client specifications. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute roofing projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely to cut, shape, and install roofing materials. Adhere strictly to construction safety protocols such as harness use, ladder safety procedures, and OSHA regulations during all outdoor work activities. Perform siding installation, stucco application, caulking, and other exterior finishing tasks as needed for comprehensive building envelope solutions. Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while maintaining proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members on construction site experience including framing, concrete forming, metal stud framing, remodeling, and handyman tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work site by managing debris and ensuring all tools are properly stored after use. Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation or repair; familiarity with roofing repair techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and fall protection equipment. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels; power tools including nail guns and saws; fabrication equipment; caulking guns; tile laying tools; heavy lifting techniques; and other relevant equipment. Skills in metal roofing installation, siding installation, stucco application, single-ply membrane roofing systems, and tile laying are advantageous. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols including adherence to OSHA standards for construction site safety regulations. Excellent physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods. Handyman experience or general remodeling skills are a plus for versatile project support.
