In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of installing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality roofing and siding systems on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure durable, weather-resistant exteriors that stand the test of time. This position offers a hands-on experience where your skills in construction, blueprint reading, and various trade techniques will shine. Responsibilities Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding to ensure secure and weatherproof structures. Measure, cut, and fit siding materials such as vinyl, wood, or metal to specifications outlined in blueprints or schematics. Perform heavy lifting of materials like shingles, metal panels, and framing components safely and efficiently. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, caulking guns, and masonry tools to complete tasks with precision. Support framing carpentry, metal stud framing, or masonry work as needed for structural integrity. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Prior experience in construction site work with familiarity in roofing or siding installation preferred. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with hand tools is essential. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings is highly desirable. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and standing for long periods. Basic understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus.
