Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Gutter Installer and become a vital contributor to high-quality exterior home improvements! This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to develop hands-on skills in gutter installation while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters on residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal water management and enhancing curb appeal. This position is perfect for those eager to gain construction experience, learn new trades, and grow within the industry—all while enjoying flexible part-time hours. Duties Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting gutters according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools Support the installation of gutters, downspouts, and related components on various structures Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment Follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate placement and alignment of gutter systems Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards Perform routine inspections of installed gutters for proper function and secure attachment Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly Skills Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety protocols Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to gutter systems Knowledge of construction practices including roofing, framing, trim carpentry, and caulking techniques Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to construction sites (e.g., lifts or scaffolding) is a plus Basic understanding of construction estimating and inspection processes Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new trades such as fabrication or masonry techniques This role welcomes applicants with diverse backgrounds in construction or related fields who are eager to expand their skill set.
