Roofing Crew Member/Leader

Job Summary Join our dynamic roofing team as a Roofing Crew Member/Leader, where you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality roofing solutions on diverse construction projects. As a key player, you'll be responsible for executing roofing tasks, supervising crew members, and ensuring that all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Your energy, attention to detail, and leadership will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Lead and coordinate a team of crew members to ensure timely completion of roofing projects while maintaining safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing and construction projects. Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and precise measurements needed for roofing installation or repair. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and labor requirements. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project specifications. Support other construction activities such as framing, carpentry, caulking, masonry, or remodeling as needed on-site. Experience Proven experience in roofing installation or repair with a solid understanding of roofing materials and techniques. Hands-on construction site experience across various trades including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or remodeling. Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings related to construction projects. Experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy lifting on active job sites. Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards applicable to roofing and general construction work. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role is essential.
