Responsibilities Install a variety of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and traditional asphalt shingles, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing projects Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses effectively while maintaining strict safety protocol adherence Perform roofing repairs, restoration work, and siding installation with attention to detail and quality Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure smooth workflow on construction sites Follow construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Collaborate with carpenters, masons, drywall installers, and other tradespeople to coordinate project tasks seamlessly Skills Extensive construction estimating experience to accurately assess project scope and materials needed Proficiency in ladder use, scaffolding setup, and working at heights with construction safety harnesses Strong knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for outdoor work environments Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, tile laying tools, and fabrication equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively Experience with roofing repair techniques including metal roofing and single-ply membrane applications Familiarity with masonry, stucco application, framing carpentry, drywall installation, remodeling projects, tile laying, concrete forming, and restoration work Demonstrated ability in heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety standards Handyman experience or multi-trade skills that enhance versatility on job sites Strong understanding of construction site experience including adherence to safety protocols during all phases of work Join our team if you're eager to bring your roofing expertise into a fast-paced environment where safety is paramount and craftsmanship matters!
