In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and high-quality metal roofing systems on residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure roofs are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in roofing and construction, and contribute to creating long-lasting structures that stand the test of time. Duties Measure and prepare roofing surfaces using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to follow project specifications accurately. Install metal roofing panels, trim carpentry components, flashing, and caulking to create weather-tight seals. Utilize fabrication techniques for custom metal pieces, ensuring proper fit and finish. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of roofing projects while maintaining quality standards. Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify proper alignment, sealing, and overall workmanship. Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation, construction estimating, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction equipment safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Experience with fabrication, welding, tile laying, stucco application or metal stud framing is a plus. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
