Millan Enterprises Position Overview We are seeking 3 skilled Punch List Technicians to support the final completion phase of new construction homes. This is a temporary-to-hire position, with expected conversion to regular full-time after 90 days . In this role, you will work directly under a site foreman, receiving a daily punch list of items that need to be corrected or completed before homes are handed over to homeowners. You'll be the last set of hands on each home — your work directly determines the quality the buyer experiences on move-in day. This position involves executing daily punch lists, performing finishing repairs, and ensuring homes meet quality standards before handover to homeowners . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well independently, and has hands-on experience across multiple construction trades. Key Responsibilities Receive and execute daily punch lists from the site foreman covering minor repairs and finishing tasks Perform paint touch-ups and full wall/trim repaints as needed Patch and repair drywall — small holes, nail pops, dings, seams, and texture matching Complete light carpentry tasks such as trim adjustments, door/hardware corrections, and minor fixture installations Address items identified during pre-closing walkthroughs that do not meet quality standards Move efficiently from home to home across active construction communities Communicate clearly with the foreman regarding task status, material needs, and any issues discovered Maintain a clean and safe work environment at each home Document completed items accurately as required
Qualifications Required:
Hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, or a related trade Proficiency in at least two of the following: painting, drywall repair, light carpentry, or basic fixture installation Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple homes in a single day Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Physical ability to perform the duties of the role (lifting, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.) Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to communicate via phone/text and follow written and verbal task lists
Preferred:
Prior experience in punch list work on new construction homes Familiarity with production home building environments Basic knowledge of a broad range of trades (painting, drywall, carpentry, caulking, cleaning)
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$20/hr•$22/hr, commensurate with experience

Overtime opportunities available during the week and on weekends Work Environment On-site position across active residential construction communities in Clarksville, TN. This role requires physical activity including lifting, kneeling, and climbing ladders. Technicians will move between multiple homes throughout the day under the direction of a site foreman.
