Roofing Contractor/ CREW JNCCS Knoxville, TN Job Details Contract $200,000 - $400,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Roofing & siding installation Full Job Description Job Summary Join our company on the installation side. We are looking for sub contracting crews in the knox county area. This is a roofing 1099 position. Must carry your own insurance! In this energetic role, you will be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems You must have experience and be able to show past jobs completed successfully. The first couple jobs installed a supervisor on site. Once installs have been completed successfully and trust has gained you'll be in charge of job site. Looking for a crew of 8 to 12 guys •Very competitive pay rates per job. Must have a crew, this is not for a single hire position. Pay will be by the Square Of roofing installed. We use top quality materials to ensure the best outcome possible. Material is provided. Pay will increase per square over longevity installing for our company. Show up, work hard, finish job, quality inspection, receive payment, next job Duties Installation, repair, and replacement of roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Measure and cut siding materials accurately based on project specifications using blueprint reading and schematics. Prepare work sites by cleaning, framing, or setting up scaffolding to ensure safe and efficient operations. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or siding boards to facilitate smooth workflow. Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to ensure a polished exterior appearance. Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or with heavy machinery to prevent accidents. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures. Experience with roofing systems, siding installation, and exterior building components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites. Familiarity with schematics, metal stud framing, masonry, plumbing, and other related trades is a plus. Skilled in using fabrication techniques for custom siding or roofing components when needed. Hands-on experience with restoration work or remodeling projects enhances versatility on the job site.
