Job Description
Facilities Technician As our Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in delivering highquality and safe construction projects by supporting fastpaced, detailfocused field operations. In this role, you will demonstrate strong craftsmanship, adaptability, and effective coordination with project teams across a wide range of specialized commercial construction, maintenance, renovation/repair and light expansion projects. You will perform a variety of carpentry and building tasks including light framing, installation of interior and exterior finishes, selective demolition, door and hardware installation, and general facility improvements. You will also help ensure that all work aligns with project plans, schedule, and quality standards while maintaining a clean, hazardfree job site. Experienced technicians may take on more complex scopes, interact directly with clients, provide fielddriven solutions to the budget and scope of work, and support continuous improvement in project execution. Successful technicians in this role are committed to safety, craftsmanship, teamwork, customer service, and delivering excellent results in a dynamic construction environment. Your Skills Skilled Carpentry Craftsmanship & Precision Light Framing & Finish Carpentry Door, Hardware & Building Component Installation Blueprint Reading & Layout Interpretation Use of Hand & Power Tools & Specialty Equipment ProblemSolving & Jobsite Adaptability Safety Awareness & Hazard Recognition Collaboration, Communication & Client Interaction Planning, Time Management & Task Prioritization Commitment to Growth & Continuous Improvement Your Background Previous experience as a carpenter or technician on commercial construction or special projects/renovation work. Strong skillset in light framing, finish installation, selective demo, and repairfocused construction tasks. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and specifications. Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, communication, and problemsolving abilities. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding, fastpaced field environment with frequent task changes. Valid driver's license.
