Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Roofing Contractor to lead and execute roofing projects with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, ensuring safety compliance and quality workmanship. Your expertise will help deliver durable, weather-resistant roofs that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your construction experience and technical skills to make a lasting impact. Duties Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing projects. Install a variety of roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and tile laying with precision and attention to detail. Conduct roofing repairs and remodeling work, ensuring all tasks meet safety protocols and quality standards. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and labor requirements. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and other safety equipment. Interpret technical specifications and construction plans for siding installation, stucco application, metal stud framing, concrete forming, trim carpentry, and other related tasks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocol adherence guidelines during outdoor work activities on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing installation, repair, and maintenance across residential or commercial sites. Strong knowledge of roofing materials such as single-ply membranes, metal roofing systems, tiles, and siding options like stucco or metal siding. Hands-on experience with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans for complex projects. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations related to roofing activities including harnesses, ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and general site safety practices. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and other relevant machinery required for roofing tasks. Experience in remodeling projects involving trim carpentry or stucco application is a plus. Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential. Additional handyman skills such as tile laying or metal stud framing can enhance your versatility on-site.
