4/8/2026 Job Description We are seeking a Skilled Laborer / Construction Helper with hands-on experience in outdoor construction, patio cover installation, or general labor to join our team in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering consistent hours and long-term potential for dependable candidates. This role focuses on assisting with the installation of aluminum patio covers, screen rooms, and exterior structures, making it ideal for individuals with construction, roofing, framing, or installation experience who are comfortable working outdoors and on ladders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in constructing aluminum patio covers and screen rooms Measure and cut roll form and extruded materials using a chop saw Take accurate measurements from ladders on house walls and fascia Pre-drill materials using an impact drill Assemble metal framing and roof panels while working on ladders Install and secure structural components for outdoor builds Apply caulking and touch-up paint to seal and finish installations Roll screen and spline into aluminum screen room components Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing debris and materials Follow directions from supervisors and support lead installers on-site

Requirements:

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be comfortable working outdoors on ladders in a physically demanding environment. Experience using basic construction tools such as a tape measure, chop saw, and impact drill is required.
