Coatings Refinishing Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Coatings Refinishing Technician to join our team! Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, or applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply coatings using tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools to achieve smooth finishes. Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision, adhering to project specifications and schematics. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timeframes for efficient project completion. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal and ensuring safety protocols are followed on construction sites. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, welding equipment, and industrial painting techniques. Familiarity with residential painting, commercial painting, construction site experience, renovation projects, and maintenance tasks. Ability to perform caulking, trim carpentry (including frame carpentry), fixture installation, drywall repair, and masonry work efficiently. Knowledge of safety standards related to construction painting and industrial coating applications; ability to operate scaffolding safely. Pay:

$50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
