Scaffolding Builder Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolding Builder to join our scaffolding construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures at various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Candidates with experience in construction site operations and familiarity with various building techniques will excel in this position. The Scaffold Builder plays a critical role in ensuring safe access for workers and equipment, contributing to the successful completion of projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans to determine scaffold layout and assembly procedures. Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to assemble scaffolding components. Ensure all scaffolding is secure, stable, and compliant with OSHA regulations throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and masonry teams to facilitate seamless workflow. Conduct routine inspections of scaffolding for stability and safety hazards; perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris properly. Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all phases of work. Skills Proficiency in scaffold assembly. Experience with construction management principles and construction estimating is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on-site. Strong understanding of safety standards related to scaffolding and general construction site operations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions; capable of working at heights safely. Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
