This individual supports the Service Foreman and Service Technicians in the execution of roof repairs, site readiness, tool handling, cleanup, and safety adherence. This role is designed to be a steppingstone for career growth within the roofing industry, providing opportunities to learn repair methods, materials, and job site communication. Job Responsibilities & Requirements Repair Assistance & Support Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites under supervision of the Foreman or Technician. Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from roof areas as directed. Help prepare roof surfaces and staging areas for repair work. Hold flashings, collect debris, and perform general support during repair operations. Safety & Compliance Maintain OSHA 10 Certification (within 90 days of hire). Ensure full compliance with PPE and fall protection standards. Assist with daily tailgate safety meetings and hazard identification. Tools & Materials Identify and retrieve tools and materials as requested. Assist with loading/unloading and inventory repair supplies. Keep tools organized and report any missing or broken equipment. Job Site Cleanliness & Housekeeping Keep the job site clean and organized at all times. Remove debris, excess materials, and trash from the roof and surrounding area. Assist in ensuring job sites are left clean to meet client expectations. Learning & Development Demonstrate continuous improvement in roofing knowledge and tool familiarity every 90 days. Participate in hands-on training sessions with Foreman and Superintendent. Take initiative to ask questions and understand roofing components, repair types, and site bid Service Technician BIG 3: Job Site Readiness, Support & Execution (50%)
