This role is vital in ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and efficient project completion. As a leader on the ground, you will coordinate teams, interpret schematics, and utilize your extensive technical skills to deliver exceptional results. Duties Lead and supervise field technicians during installation, repair, and fabrication tasks on construction sites. Oversee the installation of glass fixtures, doors, cabinets, and other architectural components with precision. Perform welding, metal stud framing, and fabrication work to meet project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, electrical work, and fixture installation. Manage heavy lifting operations safely while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to design plans and safety standards; troubleshoot issues proactively. Support remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills including frame carpentry, door hanging, lock installation, and drywall finishing. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability. Skills Extensive experience in glass installation, door hanging, cabinetry, and fixture setup. Proficiency in welding techniques and mechanical knowledge relevant to construction environments. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing physical demands of the role. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Experience with fabrication processes involving metal or wood materials; capable of customizing components as needed. Electrical experience including basic wiring or fixture connections is a plus. Familiarity with locksmithing principles for lock installation or repair tasks. Background in remodeling projects involving carpentry, drywall finishing, caulking or trim work. Metal stud framing expertise for interior wall construction or renovation projects. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly; excellent problem-solving skills required for on-site challenges.
