Job Description

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices nationwide. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Demolition Workers to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures, preparing sites for new construction, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of demolition techniques, construction site protocols, and a variety of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while developing expertise in various aspects of construction and demolition work. Responsibilities Safely execute demolition activities on residential, commercial, or industrial structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine demolition scope and methods. Assist with site preparation, including debris removal, site clearing, and material salvage. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes in accordance with safety standards. Support other construction tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, framing, roofing, and installation of fixtures like doors, windows, or cabinetry as needed. Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers and team members to plan demolition phases efficiently. Utilize construction management software like Bluebeam for documentation and project tracking. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure operational safety. Assist in restoration activities post-demolition to prepare sites for subsequent construction phases. Skills Proven experience in demolition work within construction environments; familiarity with construction site protocols is essential. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws). Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience with various construction trades including plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, drywall installation (plastering/stucco), flooring (tile laying), roofing, and carpentry (trim carpentry, door hanging). Ability to perform concrete finishing, concrete forming, masonry work, welding, fabrication, and restoration tasks. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam is a plus. Knowledge of safety procedures related to demolition activities; ability to operate heavy machinery safely. Excellent physical stamina and attention to detail; ability to work in diverse weather conditions. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. This role is integral to the successful completion of complex projects requiring precision demolition skills combined with a broad understanding of construction processes.
