In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing metal building components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of commercial, industrial, and residential metal structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction experience to build durable, high-quality structures that meet all safety standards and client specifications. Duties Interpret and follow construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal building components. Erect steel frameworks, wall panels, roofing systems, siding, and trim carpentry with precision using hand tools and power tools. Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large metal sections during assembly. Install rebar, concrete forms, and perform concrete finishing when required for foundation work. Read blueprints and utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure accurate dimensional measurements. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Assist with masonry, stucco, siding, roofing, framing, drywall installation, and restoration projects as needed. Use welding skills to join metal components securely when necessary for structural integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards throughout all phases of construction. Experience Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction fields such as framing, roofing, or siding installation. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and measuring devices like tape measures. Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, drywall finishing, plastering, roofing systems, woodworking, siding installation, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing. Ability to interpret technical schematics and schematics related to various construction disciplines. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures is highly desirable. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations relevant to construction tasks. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments involving heavy lifting and strenuous labor.
