Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Roofing Laborer and be a vital part of delivering high-quality roofing solutions! In this energetic role, you'll assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, ensuring safety and precision on every project. Your hands-on work will contribute to durable, weather-resistant roofs that protect homes and businesses alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in roofing and general construction while working alongside experienced professionals.•Pay is based on experience and if you have a Drivers license or not•2 Years experience required Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including Shingle & metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and fasten roofing components. Set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses while adhering strictly to construction safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, insulation, and framing components. Support siding installation, stucco application, masonry work, and other exterior building tasks as needed. Follow all safety protocols including the use of fall protection equipment like safety harnesses and proper ladder use. Assist with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, caulking, and other handyman tasks related to roofing projects. Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and debris removal to promote a safe working environment. Experience Previous construction experience preferred; familiarity with roofing or exterior building trades is a plus. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses is highly desirable. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions enhances your ability to perform consistently. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, or construction plans for accurate project execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques is advantageous. Background in masonry, remodeling, tile laying or carpentry can provide a strong foundation for success in this role. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while maintaining adherence to safety protocols is essential.
