We are a general contractor that works with the largest most reputable Builders on the Olympic Peninsula. We strive for excellence in our company and in our craft. We are currently looking to expand our team and fill a full-time Lead Framer / Lead Carpenter. We're looking for someone who leads by example, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, communicates well, and can keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and motivated to build exceptional homes while developing the crew around them. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a residential framing crew on new construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure projects are built accurately. Coordinate daily work with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Plan labor, materials, and equipment needed for each project. Train, mentor, and develop crew members while maintaining a productive work pace. Ensure all work meets Framework Builders' quality standards. Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and weekly safety meetings. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite. Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners when necessary. Assist with additional carpentry work including decking, siding, fencing, remodel demolition, and other rough carpentry as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential framing experience , including experience leading a crew. Strong knowledge of residential wood framing methods and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Proficient in framing floors, walls, and roof systems. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to solve problems, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently. Commitment to quality craftsmanship and safe work practices. Experience towing utility or dump trailers is preferred. Telehandler experience is a plus (training provided if needed). Requirements Valid Washington Driver's License with an insurable driving record. Reliable transportation during the probationary period . Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform physically demanding work. Available Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Tool bags and basic hand tools required (company provides power tools). Must wear appropriate work boots and follow all company safety policies.
