This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors on diverse construction sites, applying your skills to enhance building aesthetics and durability. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, you'll be part of a motivated crew dedicated to safety, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. All positions are paid, and you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in siding installation, roofing, and general construction. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of various siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, and metal siding, following detailed construction plans and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure siding components Set up ladders and scaffolding while adhering to ladder use safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment Support roofing repair projects and metal roofing installations when required Follow all construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and personal protective equipment (PPE) Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute siding layouts and measurements Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Requirements Prior construction experience or a strong interest in learning the trade with hands-on handyman or remodeling background preferred Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans Experience with roofing repair, single-ply membrane roofing, masonry, stucco, or concrete forming is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and ladders safely; experience with metal stud framing is advantageous Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor activity
