In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the erection of metal and wood post frame buildings, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. You will work closely with experienced crew members to learn the ins and outs of post frame construction, including framing, siding, roofing, and finishing touches. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in various construction disciplines while contributing to exciting building projects. Duties Assist in the assembly and erection of metal building frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing tasks on site Help with framing activities such as woodworking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing installation Operate heavy equipment safely to move materials and assist with site preparation Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate construction Perform general construction tasks including siding, stucco application, restoration work, and remodeling projects Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for various carpentry and masonry tasks while adhering to safety protocols Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as masonry, carpentry, or metal building erection is preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is highly advantageous Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, roofing, siding, and framing is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, plastering, or restoration projects will be considered an asset Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced construction setting Join our team if you're eager to build your career in construction!
