Residential Framer 4th Dimension Construction | Thurston County $18 - $30 per hour | Full-Time We're looking for a qualified residential framer to join our team. And when we say qualified, we mean it. We're not looking for someone who has swung a hammer a few times and wants to learn how to frame. We're looking for someone who actually knows how to frame . Someone who can read plans, lay out walls, measure accurately, cut correctly, and understands what they're building. 4th Dimension Construction is a full-service residential design-build contractor in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We work on remodels, additions, and larger residential projects, so our work is more than just showing up and repeating the same house every day. Every project has its own challenges, and we need people who can think through those challenges and build it right.

What We're Looking For Experience With:

Solid residential framing experience Own vehicle (preferably a truck) Ability to accurately measure, lay out, cut, and assemble framing Comfortable reading construction plans and following details Understanding of standard residential framing practices Experience with walls, floors, roofs, headers, beams, openings, etc. Comfortable using common carpentry tools and equipment Ability to work independently when given a task and communicate when something needs clarification Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work Reliable, dependable, and shows up ready to work Ability to work safely and keep a clean, organized jobsite Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What You'll Be Doing You'll be working on residential remodels, additions, and other construction projects throughout the Olympia/Tumwater area.

That can include:

Wall and floor framing Roof framing Layout and structural framing Headers, beams, posts, and openings Sheathing and blocking Framing around windows and doors Working from plans and field measurements Remodeling and tying new framing into existing structures General carpentry work as the project requires We're a smaller company, so we're looking for someone who can think for themselves, solve problems, and take ownership of their work . You don't have to know everything, but you do need to know your way around a framing job. If You're the Real Deal, Come Talk to Us.
