Structural Construction Apprentice

Position Overview Handley Construction is hiring a Structural Construction Apprentice to assist in building custom homes from the ground up. This role focuses on the early and structural phases of construction including site work, foundations, framing, roofing, and exterior systems . You will work directly with experienced builders and gain hands-on experience in how a home is built before finishes begin. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn real construction skills and grow into a long-term role in the trade. What You'll Be Doing Assist with site setup and footing excavation Help prepare and install ICF foundation systems Support crews with floor, wall, and roof framing Install sheathing, blocking, and structural components Assist with roofing underlayment and installation Help with exterior siding and weather barrier systems Move and stage materials to keep projects running efficiently Maintain a clean and organized jobsite What You'll Learn Foundation layout and preparation ICF construction methods Residential framing systems Roofing installation and weatherproofing Exterior wall systems and siding installation Jobsite workflow and professional building practices What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Dependable and shows up ready to work Ability to work outdoors in all conditions Physically capable of lifting and handling materials Basic tool experience is helpful but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What This Role Leads To This position is designed to develop into a Carpenter / Structural Builder role for individuals who take initiative and build their skills.

Pay:

$17.50 - $25.00 per hour
